How do I commission a portrait? It's very simple. Firstly - get in contact. You can use the contact form here, or call/text me on +44 (0) 7956 850009 or email me here. Then you supply me with some good, clear photos of the pet and written instructions to go ahead. Please provide a photograph which shows the head, eyes & nose clearly. If you'd like particular colours to be used, or have any other specific preferences, please let me have them with your written instructions. For further information - take a look here.

What will happen when my commissioned portrait has been painted? When I've completed the painting, I'll send you a photo via email or text for you to see before I send it to be mounted. It is at this point that payment is required, and before the painting is dispatched to you. The portrait will be boxed and sent by Special Delivery with the Royal Mail. There is an additional charge for Postage & packing.

What can I do if I don't like the portrait you have done?Obviously no-one wants this to happen - and I really hope you will be delighted with the painting I have done. Hopefully you will have looked over this website and seen the style and colours I use - so there should be no surprises! In some cases I would be pleased to re-paint the portrait. If the original portrait or any further portrait is not accepted then I will have to charge for the materials I have used.

How long does it take to do a pet portrait? Please check availability with me if you need the portrait with you by a particular date. I normally do commissioned paintings in the order of when they have been commissioned. I'll be happy to give you an idea of how long it will take at the time of booking, but for planning purposes please allow 3-4 weeks minimum.
